    The boys started slowly and let the opposition kick 4 quick goals.  The next 3 quarters saw our boys play determined footy which stopped Canterbury kicking easy goals.  We played like a 'team' to finish off the season.

    The wind blew hard all day, making scoring goals difficult.  Our boys showed fantastic courage.  They gave their all and played hard, "fair" footy.

    We have organised a huge end of season celebration for this Sunday night for all our teams who are finishing this weekend, including hiring a marque & arranging additional food catering for the night.

    We would like to see every Coach, Team Manager, Player & parents from all our teams who are playing their last game this Sunday at the
    clubrooms from 5.00pm on Sunday, so we can continue the St Marys tradition of getting each of these teams up on stage to recognise their efforts
    throughout the season.

    The Burras got off to a fantastic start in the 1st quarter, playing good hard footy.  Unfortunately the boys went to sleep in the 2nd quarter and let Whitehorse take control of the game.  Even though we tried hard for the rest of the game, we couldn't quite catch up.
