A good effort by the boys for their first game together but we will have to work hard on the training track so we can improve in some areas.

We started okay in the first quarter, unfortunately our second quarter was terrible, conceding four goals to none. To the boys credit, they bounced back after half time to play some really good team footy.

So it is important for our next game that we play four good quarters, becuase as the case was today, one bad quarter can and does cost games.

The scores didn't really tell the story of the game. We had a much of the play at Canterbury did but not quiet the same polish to get the score on the board.

Our endevour and intensity was probably better than our opposition. A fine team effort by all.

We hosted 2nd place Doncater and with a super effort we outplayed them for the whole game and held on for easily ourbest win of the year, which also keeps our finals chance alive!

We didn't have a bad player, well done boys!

We tried hard all game and led for most of it only to see Fitzroy pinch the lead in the last quarter and hang on to win, despite our best efforts. The boys never gave up and fought hard 'til the final siren.
