A great start for the season 2006.  The boys were ready and waiting for the Kew boys.  Remember first for the ball should be the winner by the end of the game - Well done, see you all at training Thursday 4.30pm.

A hard contest in the first half. The boys put a lot of pressure on Banyule in the second half to come away easy victors.

A cold, wet, rainy and muddy day saw the bottom team, Camberwell in front at quarter time.

A stern talking to the boys in the break saw them, for the next 3 quarters, play football like the top side should. Well done boys, a real good fight back.

A slow start to the game but the boys rallied together after 1/4 time to run out with a victory. Well done boys, it's very pleasing to see an even team effort.

This game, first on the ladder, undefeated played second on the ladder, undefeated.
In the rooms before the game i could tell the boys just wanted this win, look at the score, say no more. "Go the Burra"

Today this team showed why they are the top side in Under 10 Gold, with their hard hits (and I mean HARD hits) running football, strong marking, direct passing by foot and hand and everything else that makes this side of boys what it is, fantastic, you have made a coach feel very very proud.

We all know it was wet, cold, muddy, trying conditions.We had two good players out of the side, Warrandyte second on the ladder. We needed big hearts and that's what we got. A fantastic effort boys.

Round12 - 9/7/2006 St Mary's 2.3.15 - v - Kew J 2.3.15
You cant get much closer than a draw. But let me say, Kew's ground is a mess, the centre is just one big black glue pot, which of course didn't make for a very good game of football. Our boys started the game slowly thinking the game was going to come to them. One point down at half time, we started the third quarter with a lot more intensity. The fourth quarter was just great, the boys fought hard to be first to the ball and did all the things a good football team shoud do. Six points up one minute to go, kew rolled the ball through several fingers for a goal. A great team effort fellers, we will get them next time.Go Burra

The boys played like a well oiled machine, making every contest count and when we do that there is not an Under 10 side around that will beat us. I loved the talk and hand balls. Great effort boys. Go You Good Things!

We are moving along just nicely. The Banyule team bottled the game up but to our boys credit they fought hard right to the end to come away with an easy win. Well done boys - GO THE BURRA

Once again the boys showed why they are on top of the ladder. With their hard running to make every contest, their loud talking to each other, hand balling to a free team mate or a player running past, kicking with strength to a team mate in the right position. Well, well, well. What a year. 16 home and away games, 15 wins and 1 draw, a team of undefeated champions, just a wonderful effort by all our boys.

But we all know what is ahead. Our next few weeks lets stick to our game plan and bring home the big one, Go Boys, Go the Burras
