The scoreboard was not a true indication of the level of commitment shown by our team.  A few skill errors cost us dearly and we will improve.  A good effort on many levels, but plenty of room for improvement.  Thanks Liam and Robert for helping out (up from unders 10s)

Failure to man up and do the hard things once again cost us dearly. Until we are willing as a team to keep our eyes on the ball and commit our bodies, we will continue to struggle.

It looks like the break couldn't have come at a better time. Injuries and tiredness are taking their toll.

Our willigness to work for each other, which has been terrific in the last few weeks was sadly lacking today. As individuals we are one of the more talented groups in the competition, but this is a team game and we need to make sacrifices for each other.

The desire for the ball and contesting was terrific with a few marks up forward being costly.

A good effort for three quarters with just a third quarter lapse costing us. The commitment was excellent with Josh Chessari leading by example in his 50th game. This team has great character and with hard work on the track will improve. Great work

A very brave effort against a tall side who beat a finals contender by 13 goals last week. While we failed to follow the team rules in the last quarter and paid the price, the pain on our players faces showed how disappointed they were and hopefully a lesson has been learnt.

A day to forget, where we never really adapted to the heavy conditions.

A much improved second half left us wondering how different the results could have been had we come to play from the start.

While a 24 point loss looks bad, 6 scoring shots to 10 is a better indication of how close the game was.

To hold the team that will probably win the flag to a 4 goal to 1 second half was terrific.

Unfortunately the first half got away from us and it was too late.

We never gave up, but we have to get smarter as I keep saying each week.

A pretty good effort from a team playing together for the first time and at the end of a long season.  Those 2 last quarter goals kept us in the Gold division next year (by 3.37%) so never giving up is so important.  Great effort all year.  See you in 2007
