    All boys played very well, great teamwork, tackling and movement of the ball.  Thanks to all the boys for a great year, I thoroughly enjoyed coaching, training was great, games were always exciting although watching/coaching a great young group of boys develop in to a team of footballers was my highlight.  Thanks to Ivan for team managing, Grant, Jim and Matt for all their help at training, everyone that volunteered throughout the year - you made it a pleasure to be part of a great team.  Thanks again and good luck for next year.

    Played very well considering we were 6 kids down.  Big oval plus windy conditions made for challenging conditions, however we came away with a win.

    Don't forget this Sunday is Tackers Presentation day starting at 3.30pm. 

    We have organised a huge end of season celebration for this Sunday night for all our teams who are finishing this weekend, including hiring a marque & arranging additional food catering for the night.

    We would like to see every Coach, Team Manager, Player & parents from all our teams who are playing their last game this Sunday at the
    clubrooms from 5.00pm on Sunday, so we can continue the St Marys tradition of getting each of these teams up on stage to recognise their efforts
    throughout the season.

    All boys played a great game.  Josh Smith tackled well, Joel Matthews was courageous in every contest, putting his body on the line, andrew Giddens copped a big knock in the 3rd quarter and got straight back into the contest.  Fantastic 1st game back for Alex Myers.  Thanks to all parents who helped this week.

    Another great Tackers Day with plenty of fun had by all.  Game 1 against St Damians, all boys played well with the highlight of a great mark taken by Liam Fowler, passed to Millsy and goal.  Game 2 - great 2nd efforts by Tom Philp, big punches by Will in the ruck, great tackling and run out of the centre by Liam Moran and Kris Fisher.  Game 3 - Tough game by Andrew Giddens, got bumped high, came off, went back on and took a great mark in a pack.  Game 4 - great run out of the centre by Joel Matthews.  Great mark in a pack by Thomas Philp resulting in a great goal.  That gave us a big run on and room for Riley to move the ball cleanly out of the centre where he got a big bump, got up, went straight for the tackle - 2nd effort. 

    Good fun had by all kids and parents.  Thanks to all parents for your continuing help and support.
