    Unfortunately not good enough today on the big stage.  After being down by over 5 goals at quarter time, we clawed our way back but in the end ran out of time.

    We have 5 teams in the Grand Final next week, lets all get along to as many games as we can and support our great club.

    There will be a function at Greensborough War Memorial Park from 5.30pm on Sunday 29th August after the Grandfinals, this will be a huge celebration with yummy pasta, a raging DJ and all our Grandfinalists up on stage regardless of the result.  Lets all get along and celebrate the end of a fantastic season.

    3rd place Glen Iris was always going to be a tough game but our boys were fantastic.  We were first in for the ball and we got our reward.

    We have organised one of our own St Mary’s players and Carlton champion Matthew Kreuzer to come along to say g’day to everyone.

    Food will be provided and everyone is welcome in what will be a fun night for all to enjoy.

     

     

    All club jumpers for any players/teams not playing finals must be returned directly to your Team Manager this Sunday straight after your game. The club has arranged to have them cleaned & checked on Monday.

    Playing for a spot in the finals, the boys were very slow out of the blocks.  In the 2nd quarter we kicked 7 goals to have a nice lead.  In the 3rd we switched off again.  In the last we finished off well, need to be switched on for weeks to come.  Well done on securing a finals berth.
